Bradley S. McAllister D.D.S. Ph.D.

Board Certified, American Board of Periodontology

Since 1993 Dr. McAllister has practiced the specialty of Periodontics in the Portland area. He is both a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. McAllister has been active in treating the periodontal diseases with an emphasis on dental implant placement. He has over fifteen years of experience in the surgical placement of dental implants and bone reconstruction. Prior to starting his own practice in Tigard, Dr. McAllister was a faculty member at the Oregon Health Sciences University. He was the director of the dental implant program for the residents and performed research related to implantology. He is currently a part time faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Prior to his return to the Northwest, Dr. McAllister practiced in San Antonio Texas while completing his Ph.D. degree. His research centered on techniques to improve surgical wound healing. He completed his residency in Periodontics in 1992 at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio after obtaining his D.D.S. in 1988 at the University of Washington.

For over fifteen years Dr. McAllister has lectured on implantology and periodontics to local, national and international audiences. He has published numerous articles in professional journals. He is a member of several professional organizations and is especially active in the following dental organizations: Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Periodontology, Oregon Society of Periodontists and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. McAllister practices in the Tigard/Tualatin area and limits his practice to periodontics and oral implantology.
